Athletes Corner is a community based wellness and mentorship program that meets young people where they already are — in the gym, on the field, in the classroom, and in their neighborhoods.
Our Therapeutic Mentors are trained professionals, many from the same communities as the youth they serve. Licensed clinicians provide oversight and clinical support so every young person gets exactly what they need.
We started Athletes Corner because we saw how many kids showed up to practice every day carrying more weight than any young person should have to carry. Sports gave them discipline. We give them the tools to carry that discipline into every area of their lives.

Services are delivered by trained Therapeutic Mentors, with licensed clinicians available for oversight and additional support when needed.

Our Model
Two Layers of Support. One Unified Approach.
Therapeutic Mentors
Trained professionals who meet with youth 1 to 3 times per week. They build consistent relationships, provide skill building sessions, and support emotional regulation. Many come from the same communities as the youth they serve.
Licensed Clinicians
Licensed clinical staff provide oversight, supervision, and direct clinical support. They complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and remain available throughout the entire program. Every child has a clinician attached.
Completely Free Through MassHealth
Athletes Corner services are billed through MassHealth, making them completely free for eligible families. Our team handles the enrollment, verification, and all paperwork.
